                        Purchase of shares by Directors


The Company was notified today that certain of the directors of the Company and
parties connected with them and Simon Grinstead, consultant, have acquired, in
aggregate, 360,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.47 per cent. of the issued
share capital, each at a price of 11 pence per share.  The individual purchases
by the directors, consultant and parties connected with them and their resultant
holdings are as follows :
