Blue Solutions acquires US start-up Capacitor Sciences Incorporated and strengthens its R&D program in electricity storage technologies.

Founded by Dr. Pavel Lazarev and based in Palo Alto (California), Capacitor Sciences Incorporated is an innovative start-up specialized in study and research in the field of new energy storage molecules.

The acquisition will enable Blue Solutions to introduce innovations developed by Capacitor Sciences Incorporated into the design and industrialization of its electricity storage products (Lithium Metal Polymer batteries and supercapacitors), thereby substantially improving performance (density, cyclability and charge rate).

The acquisition is consistent with the industrial strategy of the Bolloré Group, which has been investing in a research and development program in electricity storage technologies and its applications (electric buses and cars and stationary solutions) for nearly 25 years.
