PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)--La Commission européenne a étendu vendredi de deux semaines le délai d'examen sur le rachat de Bombardier Transport, branche ferroviaire du groupe canadien Bombardier, par l'équipementier ferroviaire Alstom. La nouvelle date butoir a été fixée au 31 juillet.
Alstom et Bombardier ont soumis jeudi des propositions à Bruxelles pour répondre à ses préoccupations sur l'opération, une action qui "automatiquement allonge la durée d'examen de deux semaines", a expliqué une porte-parole de la Commission à l'agence Agefi-Dow Jones.
Parmi ces propositions, les deux groupes s'engagent notamment à céder les trains régionaux d'Alstom Coradia Polyvalent et le site de production alsacien de Reichshoffen.
Alstom compte finaliser le rachat de Bombardier Transport au premier semestre 2021.
