JetBlue (JBLU) on Tuesday said its newest aircraft, the Airbus A321neo, has entered scheduled service.
The new jet flew its first trip on the airline's New York City-to-Fort Lauderdale route.
JetBlue said it has 85 A321neo aircraft on order, including several long-range versions that will serve a variety of European destinations.
The airline also said its first A321neo was named in honor of company founder David Neeleman.
