Airbus SE said Monday that U.S. airline startup Breeze Airways has agreed to buy 20 additional A220-300 aircraft.
The European plane maker said the order brings Breeze Airways' total order book to 80 A220-300s, with the first one set to be delivered in the fourth quarter of the year.
Airbus will then deliver approximately one A220 a month over the next six and a half years.
The airline, which started operations in May, plans to begin flights with the Airbus fleet in the second quarter of 2022.
