Shore Community Bank Announces Stock Dividend

TOMS RIVER, N.J., Jan. 3  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of Shore Community Bank (OTC:SHRC) (BULLETIN BOARD: SHRC)  declared a 5% stock dividend payable January 30, 2007 to shareholders of record on January 17, 2007.

A public auction of the fractional shares will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2007, 10:00 a.m. at the Bank's Corporate Headquarters located at 1012 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, New Jersey.

This is the eighth stock dividend paid to shareholders since the Bank's inception in February 1997.

Shore Community Bank is traded on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB) under the symbol SHRC.

Shore Community Bank was founded in 1997 by a group of local business leaders to return community-based banking to the Toms River, Ocean County, New Jersey area.  The Bank operates five banking offices, three located in Toms River, one in Ortley Beach, and one in Jackson Township.
