Shoal Point Energy Appoints Advisory Board

Mark Jarvis, CEO of Shoal Point Energy Ltd. (CSE:SHP)(OTCQX:SHPNF), today
announced the appointment of an Advisory Board to help management with strategy,
project evaluation and financial expertise. "This is a strong group of
individuals with diverse and deep experience," said Mr. Jarvis. "Having each of
them available in an advisory role will prove valuable to shareholders going
forward."


Henry Aldorf is President of Pacific LNG Operations and of Liquid Niugini Gas
Ltd., and is involved as director and/or management of several other public and
private corporations. In February 2014, Pacific LNG Operations concluded the
sale of its 22.835% interest in PRL 15 containing the Elk and Antelope fields in
Papua New Guinea to Oil Search Ltd., the largest oil and gas exploration and
development company incorporated in Papua New Guinea, for an initial amount of
US$900 million with further contingent payments. Mr. Aldorf previously worked
for Marathon Oil in various management and international business development
positions, most recently as President of Marathon International and Vice
President, Global Upstream Business Development.


Nico Civelli is a Zurich based financial consultant and venture capitalist who
works closely with several leading European and North American private asset
management companies and funds that specialize in natural resources. He is on
the Board of Directors of several private and public resource companies and is
vice president, Finance of Pacific LNG Operations Ltd., referenced above. Pac
LNG is an affiliate of Clarion Finance, an investment firm which manages capital
committed from institutions and high net worth individuals.


Clive Stockdale graduated from the London School of Economics and worked at The
Midland Bank in the City of London before joining Mobil Oil in Calgary. Mr.
Stockdale returned to the financial side of the business as an analyst covering
senior and mid cap oil companies, then moved his focus in the early 1980's to
junior exploration and production companies.


Michael Cytrynbaum is President of First Fiscal Management Ltd., a private
consulting company specializing in financial engineering, mergers and
acquisitions, and strategic planning. He has served on the Board of several
private and public corporations and was a founding director of Microcell
Telecommunications Inc., (now Fido) and remained on the Board of Microcell for
ten years.


Douglas Varley is a former senior vice president and director of Canaccord
Capital Corp. He is currently President of Northern Hills Consulting Group,
which provides venture capital and strategic advice to small and mid-cap
resource companies.
