Caledon Resources Plc ("Caledon" or the "Company")
Issue of equity
Caledon is pleased to announce that it has placed 4,000,000 new ordinary shares
of 0.1p each at 5 pence per share with an institutional investor, raising
approximately #200,000. This issue of shares represents 2.0 per cent of the
enlarged issued share capital and brings the total of recent funds raised to
approximately #800,000.
Application will be made for the 4,000,000 ordinary shares the subject of the
placing, which will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares, to be
admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market. Admission will become
effective and dealings are expected to commence at 8.00 am on 11 September 2003.
