Media Advisory: Open Door Policy for U.S. Media Organizations on Black Friday, November 28, 2008; Circuit City Helps Kick Off Ho

RICHMOND, Va., Nov. 25  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Circuit City stores nationwide will help kick off the 2008 holiday shopping season with early openings, special promotional offers and an open door for news media crews on "Black Friday," November 28, 2008.

For this one day, the company policy for news media visits will be relaxed.  Media representatives will not need to clear their visits beforehand with Circuit City's media relations department and can capture the fun and excitement as early bird shoppers line up for pre-dawn "door buster" deals.

Doors at Circuit City's 567 Superstores nationwide will open at 5:00 a.m. local time.  To find a store closest to you, go to http://www.circuitcity.com/ and click on store locator.

TV Live shots must be done OUTSIDE the store.  Sorry, but we cannot allow cables or tripods inside on such a busy morning.

Please do not interfere with the checkout process, and please respect the wishes of guests who do not want to appear on camera.

Store personnel, including the managers, must devote their main attention to helping guests.  Please understand if they don't have time to do an interview.
