ANN ARBOR, Mich., Dec. 21  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Advanced Photonix, Inc.(R) (NYSE Amex: API) will participate in two investment conferences in New York next month. These events create a forum for institutional investors to hear from leading micro-cap companies for potential future investment.

The first event is the Sidoti and Company New York Micro-Cap Conference. Sidoti's conference will be held at the Grand Hyatt New York on January 11, 2010. API's Chairman and CEO, Rick Kurtz, will present at the conference at 9:10 am ET on Monday, January 11. The second event is the Needham and Company Twelfth Annual Growth Stock Conference to be held January 12-14, 2010 at The New York Palace Hotel.
