Amazon Technologies Patents A Streaming Data Marketplace

In a 27 page description the patent outlines examples of how the technology could be used for just about anything already being done on in the internet. It makes clear references to integrating cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology:

“As one example implementation, trade execution numbers from a financial exchange may be generated throughout the day. These numbers may be meaningful to an investment bank that made the trades identified by the numbers.”

“The method may include using cryptographic tokens, such as a public key/private key pair, to verify an authenticity of the first or second sources involved in the combined stream.”

Paypal Policy Updates Are Cause for Crypto 

Effective Date: April 19, 2018 Paypal is taking many away what were major benefits for a population of users. Sending money between friends across international boarders, and identity verification standards received the most drastic changes.

Unverified accounts can now do nothing but transfer between Paypal balance and a linked bank account.

International sending now has a “flat fee of $2.99 or $4.99 per transaction depending on the recipient’s country.”
