Horsehead Holding Corp. Prices Initial Public Offering

MONACA, Pa., Aug. 10  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Horsehead Holding Corp. (NASDAQ:ZINC), the parent company of Horsehead Corporation, today announced that it has priced its initial public offering of 4,867,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $18.00 per share, 4,171,235 shares of which are being offered by the Company.  The offering is being made through an underwriting syndicate led by Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co., Inc.  The Company intends to use the proceeds from the offering to fund capital improvements and for general corporate purposes.
