UniCredit SpA (UCG.MI) said Monday that it took a minority stake in Italian fintech company FinDynamic as it seeks to enhance its working capital offering for corporate clients.
The Italian bank didn't reveal the size of the stake nor any financial details.
"UniCredit is strongly committed to developing innovative and efficient solutions for its clients," said Francesco Giordano, UniCredit's co-chief executive of commercial banking for Western Europe.
"We are collaborating with selected fintechs in order to improve our corporate client offering and meet changing client needs," he said.
