                        APPOINTMENT OF FINANCE DIRECTOR





As previously advised in the AGM trading update of 6 June 2003, Tenon is pleased
to announce the appointment of Mr Matthew Brabin as Group Finance Director, with
effect from 8 September 2003.



Mr Brabin (38) joins Tenon from LogicaCMG plc where he has held the position of
Director UK Group Finance. Prior to the 2002 merger of Logica plc and CMG
Corporation, he was Chief Financial Officer of Logica North America, having
previously been Group Accountant of Logica plc. Between 1987 and 1992 he was at
KPMG Peat Marwick.



Neil Johnson, Chairman of Tenon, commented:



"This appointment successfully completes the extensive review of our management
structure. Our stated objective of reducing fixed costs and focusing on improved
efficiencies and performance by 30 June has been achieved. We are well placed
and on track to benefit, operationally and financially, from these initiatives.
