(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor Plus) - Roma, 18 dic - La flotta mondiale di aerei C-27J Spartan, aereo prodotto da Leonardo, ha raggiunto le 250.000 ore di volo. Lo comunica in una nota Leonardo aggiungendo che questo aereo, è stato "scelto da operatori militari in 16 paesi e fin dal suo ingresso in servizio il C-27J è stato impiegato nelle condizioni ambientali e operative più sfidanti, dalle Ande all'Afghanistan". Per Dario Marfè, senior vice president of Commercial, CSS&T & Proprietary Programs Business della Divisione Velivoli di Leonardo, lo "Spartan rispecchia bene l'essenza stessa del concetto di sicurezza nazionale, dimostrandosi il miglior assetto per le operazioni delle forze di difesa e per il loro fondamentale contributo al supporto della popolazione".
