Appointment of Directors
The Board of Gartmore European Investment Trust p.l.c. is pleased to announce
the appointments of Mr Alexander Comba and Mr Rodney Dennis as non-executive
Directors of the Company with immediate effect.
Mr Comba is currently Group Financial Director of Vinci PLC, a position he has
held since 1993. Prior to joining Vinci PLC Mr Comba obtained extensive
business experience through a number of appointments within Hanson PLC.
Mr Dennis has extensive business experience and is currently Deputy Chief
Executive of The Prince's Trust, a position he has held since September 2001.
Prior to joining The Prince's Trust, Mr Dennis held a number of senior
positions at Prudential Portfolio Managers Limited.
There are no further details requiring disclosure under paragraph 16.4 of the
FSA Listing Rules in respect of either Mr Comba or Mr Dennis.
