Eni Plenitude SpA, a unit of Italian energy company Eni SpA focused on the energy transition, said Thursday that it intends to launch an initial public offering and list its shares on Euronext Milan.
Plenitude is currently fully controlled by Eni, and Eni will retain a majority stake following the IPO, it said. According to the company, the IPO is going to enable Plenitude to diversify its ownership structure, consolidate its positioning and develop more quickly.
