Eni SpA said Thursday that it has raised its resource estimates for the Agogo-3 well offshore Angola after drilling.
The Italian energy company said that it now estimates that the well holds 1 billion barrels of oil, an increase of 40% on its prior forecast.
Production at the well, which is located in the 15/06 Block in Angolan water, started in January.
