ATLANTA, Feb. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) today announced it is offering customers whose flight plans may be affected by winter weather across the U.S. Southeast on Wednesday, Feb. 24 the ability to make one-time changes to their travel schedules without fees. Delta's weather advisory encourages customers to consider postponing or re-routing their travel to avoid possible inconvenience from expected Southeast flight delays. (Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20090202/DELTALOGO ) Customers booked on Delta-ticketed flights to, from or through the Atlanta hub on Feb. 24 may make a one-time change to their travel schedule without fees if tickets are changed by Feb. 25, 2010. Delta expects significant flights delays throughout the day and may proactively reduce flight schedules to minimize delays during the storm. All customers should check their flight status at delta.com before arriving at the airport. Travel for changed itineraries must begin by Feb. 25, 2010, and changes to origin and destination may result in a fare increase. Any fare difference between the original ticket and the new ticket will be collected at the time of rebooking. Customers whose flights are cancelled may request refunds. Delta will continue to monitor the weather situation and provide the latest weather updates at delta.com. http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20090202/DELTALOGODATASOURCE: Delta Air Lines CONTACT: Corporate Communications, +1-404-715-2554 Web Site: http://www.delta.com/
