Cleveland-Cliffs Declares Cash Dividend on Common Stock

CLEVELAND, Nov. 8  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cleveland-Cliffs Inc (NYSE: CLF) today announced that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.20 per common share. The dividend will be payable on December 1, 2005, to shareholders of record as of the close of business on November 15, 2005.  This dividend rate is the same amount declared in the prior quarter.

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, is the largest producer of iron ore pellets in North America and sells the majority of its pellets to integrated steel companies in the United States and Canada. Cleveland-Cliffs Inc operates a total of six iron ore mines located in Michigan, Minnesota and Eastern Canada.
