The placing was taken up in full by a Bermudan based company representing the interests of the family of Thomas Kaplan. The holding represents 16% of the issued share capital of the Company Capricorn Resources Plc Chairman Phil Edmonds said: "We are very pleased to welcome the Thomas Kaplan family interests as investors in Capricorn Resources. We are actively looking for resource projects in Southern Africa that fit our investment criteria, and we hope to be able to make an announcement in the not too distant future."
