Brembo è la prima azienda al mondo per creazione di valore nel segmento "Automotive Components" nel periodo 2012-16. Stessa posizione anche in Italia, tra le aziende presenti nel Ftse Mib 40, con 58% di Total Shareholder Return (TSR), l'indice utilizzato da The Boston Consulting Group per valutare le performance in termini di redditività dei titoli quotati.
A sostenerlo è lo studio "How Top Value Creators Outpace the Market - For Decades", elaborato per analizzare il Tsr di quasi 2.500 aziende nel mondo. Il secondo posto nella classifica italiana va a Recordati (42%), seguita da Leonardo Spa (36%). Rispetto all'edizione 2016 del report, si confermano nella top ten per l'Italia Azimut, Ynap, Fca, B.Unicem e Exor.
La ricerca, inoltre, svela l'esistenza di un'élite di nove aziende che, con costanza e continuità, superano la media dei loro settori da vent'anni. Sette di queste sono americane: Amazon, Altria Group, Adobe Systems, Gilead Sciences, Celgene, UnitedHealth Group e Reynolds American.
