Nationwide Performance Series Featuring Body Art to Support Local Food Banks

After kicking things off February 1 in Austin, Tuaca Liqueur takes its Body Art Ball Tour to eight more cities throughout the United States and Canada.  An eye-catching, body-rockin' fusion of art and performance, the Tuaca Body Art Ball is a choreographed stage show featuring painted performers illustrating the transformation of the human body into a canvas.

Produced by Dallas-based Chris and Candy Productions, visual artists convert performers into living, breathing works of art for a show that dazzles the audience with a sensual and sassy presentation to music and synchronized lights.  The introduction of text-to-vote for attendees sets the atmosphere for a creative competition never seen before.  The creators of the body art are abstract, airbrush or tattoo artists who bring to life body art as celebrated in today's pop culture. Performers in Tuaca Body Art Ball include familiar faces from the stage of Cirque du Soleil, Forty Duce and America's Got Talent. This fast paced variety show is packed with dancers, singers, and specialty acts all set to a dynamic soundtrack.

This year's Body Art Ball will support local food banks in each market the tour visits by raising funds at the event through pictures with performers and straight donations, among other interactions.  Tuaca will match dollar for dollar up to $1,000.  According to the nonprofit hunger organization Feeding America, every $1 donated provides 7 meals, while every $5 donated provides 20 bags of groceries.
