Avaya Comments on Premature Release of Earnings

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Jan. 23  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Earlier today, Avaya Inc.'s first quarter 2007 results were prematurely released on PR Newswire.  Although the premature release has been withdrawn, certain news outlets published stories based on this release of the earnings information. Concurrent with this release, the Company has issued its official quarterly results and will hold its previously scheduled call with investors at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time today, January 23.
