RNS Number:4802Q Atlantic Global PLC 03 October 2003 For Immediate Release 3 October, 2003 ATLANTIC GLOBAL PLC New Contract Awards and Board Appointment Contract Awards Atlantic Global, ("Atlantic" or "the Company") the fast growing AIM listed specialist developer of business and resource management software applications to a broad range of customers, announces that it has today been awarded two new contracts worth in excess of #200,000 in revenue in the current financial year. The first contract, awarded by Norwich Union Central Services, part of UK's largest insurer, is for the supply of an initial 1,250 user licenses to a further division of Norwich Union. The second contract has been awarded by Friends Provident, the major UK insurance company and a new client to the Company, which has contracted to purchase an initial 1,000 licences. These contracts are for core Adeo Business Products and result in the number of supported Adeo seats now totaling over 23,000. Commenting on the new contract awards, Eugene Blaine, Managing Director of Atlantic Global, said: "These new contracts further consolidate our position as one of the UK's fastest growing software suppliers to the financial services sector. We are delighted to be awarded the Norwich Union Central Services contract, which represents further significant expansion within one of our largest existing customers whilst the Friends Provident contract adds a new prestigious name to our client list. We are looking forward to delivering significant benefits to both organisations." Other blue-chip customers in this sector include Barclays Bank, HSBC, Allied Irish Bank and Cattles Plc. Appointment of Director The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Howard Allcock (43) to the Board in an Executive capacity as Sales and Marketing Director with immediate effect. Mr. Allcock joined the Company in February 2003 as Sales and Marketing Director Designate. Since that date Atlantic Global has benefited significantly from his experience and expertise which has been applied to a number of business areas within the Company. This has included the refocusing of Atlantic's sales and marketing function with clearer messaging attached to new products resulting in record interest being shown in the Company's software products. Prior to joining Atlantic Global, he held senior appointments within Admiral Computing Ltd (Operations Director), before its merger with CMG Plc, where he managed business units with up to 600 staff, and sales of up to #20 million per annum, before itself merging with Logica Plc. Mr. Allcock has no further disclosures to make under Schedule Two (f) (iii-viii).
