Liontrust Knowledge Economy Trust PLC (the "company")
At an EGM held yesterday the resolutions proposed to implement the scheme of
unitisation and place the Company into the members' voluntary liquidation were
duly passed.
In accordance with the Circular sent to Shareholders on 17 April 2003 (the
"Circular"), 15 May 2003 becomes the Effective Date for the Proposals.
Units in The Liontrust Intellectual Capital Trust will be issued to Shareholders
using the formula set out in paragraph 8 of the Scheme. For these purposes the
Terminal Asset Value per Ordinary Share is 71.8p and the creation price per Unit
is 162.6735p, resulting in the issue of approximately 0.441375 Units per 1
Ordinary Shares held in the Company.
Confirmation of ownerships will be posted to shareholders today.
Defined terms used in this announcement have the same meaning as in the
Circular.
