Andy Sheppard Appointed Executive General Manager of Minetec

Codan Limited (ASX-CDA) has announced that Andrew (Andy) Sheppard has been appointed executive general manager of Minetec, headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. Previously, Andy served for five years as vice president and general manager at Codan US, Inc. Minetec develops products that improve safety and productivity in underground and surface mining operations. Minetec’s core product lines include collision avoidance and proximity detection; Ethernet-over-Leaky Feeder (ELF) infrastructure; vehicle and personnel position reporting and tracking; mine management and control (MMC), and communications trailer systems.

Prior to Codan, Andy held sales, marketing and engineering positions at Harris Corporation, L-3 Communications and McDowell Research. Andy also spent twenty years as a Communications Officer in the British Army, serving worldwide in a number of operational theatres. Andy is a Chartered Engineer and holds advanced degrees in Telecomms Systems Engineering and Communications Systems Management.
