                     Notification of Interests of Directors



The Company was informed on 2nd April 2003 by Dr David Ebsworth, a non-executive
director of SkyePharma PLC, that on 2nd April 2003 he purchased 22,000 Ordinary
Shares in the Company at a price of 50 pence per share. As a result of the
transaction Dr Ebsworth now has a beneficial interest in 30,000 Ordinary Shares
in the Company.
