                    APPOINTS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

SP Holdings PLC (the 'Company'), the marketing and financial services company,
announces that Stephen John Hayward, 43, has joined the board as Chief Operating
Officer.  He is also currently a director of The Ideas Generator Ltd., The
Retail Club Ltd. and Hayward Event and Marketing Services Limited.

Steve has extensive international marketing and business experience from his
employment at Coca-Cola and his work with Universal and Paramount.

Steve Hayward

*     Steve worked for Coca-Cola for 8 years during which time he was
responsible for sponsorship within the UK where he created and managed the
sponsorship programmes for soccer (Coca-Cola Cup, National teams, Big Red Bag -
grassroots program), music (Eurochart, Capital Radio Music Festival), athletics
(Diet Coke Great Runs), broadcast sponsorship (ITV Diet Coke Movie Premieres -
first event strand sponsorship).



*     After this he moved into Coca-Cola International and managed their
first ever Pan-European music sponsorship - Coke is the Music - featuring
artists such as Prince, Bon Jovi, Salt 'n' Pepa , as well as a Europe wide radio
barter program.



*     After Coca-Cola, Steve joined CIC Video International as Senior Vice
President International Marketing, where he was responsible for co-ordinating
the marketing of Universal/Paramount/DreamWorks videos (titles such as Mission
Impossible, Lost World, Prince of Egypt) internationally.



*     Recently Steve started his own business consultancy company, The Ideas
Generator Ltd., and has worked with a number of leading fmcg, agency and
Internet clients.

barter specialist, on 1 August 2003.



*     SP Holdings announced the acquisition of 'Observebrands', a specialist 
retail and fashion brand consultancy, via its new subsidiary, SP Brands Limited, 
on 20 October 2003.



*     SP Holdings announced the acquisition of the entire issued capital of 
Provisor Global Search Limited, a specialist human resources consultancy, on 27 
October 2003.



*     SP Holdings announced the acquisition of the entire issued capital of 
Retail Source Limited ("Retail Source"), a specialist retail marketing 
consultancy, on 3 November 2003
