                      Acquisition of SP Financial Services


SP Holdings PLC, the marketing and financial services company, announces the
acquisition of SP Financial Services Limited ("SPFS") which was established in
August 2003 and acquired the goodwill and tangible assets of Robert Ward, a sole
trader acting as an independent financial adviser.  The consideration for the
acquisition is #450,000 to be satisfied by the issue of 3,000,000 ordinary
shares in the Company to Mr Ward.

Application has been made for the consideration shares to be admitted to trading
on AIM and it is expected that admission will occur on 2 October 2003.

Commenting on the acquisition, Simon Eagle, Chief Executive of SP Holdings said:

"This is an important acquisition which will be the regulated entity for the
group's financial services activity.

"We recently established a joint venture with a nationwide firm of stockbrokers
to provide a full range of stockbroking services to the clients of our financial
services business. We are actively seeking further acquisitions in both the
marketing and financial services sectors which we believe offer great
opportunities."

On 15 August 2003 SP Holdings PLC became the new name for World Sports Solutions
PLC.
