Sprint PCS Vision customers have taken Sports Illustrated to "Gold Status" with
more than 500K screen savers purchased for the personalization of their mobile
phones

beaches and extra time to relax, Sprint PCS Vision customers are adding a
summer touch to their mobile phones. Today, Sprint (NYSE:FON) announced that
Sprint PCS Vision customers recently surpassed 500K purchases of available
Sports Illustrated Swimsuit screen savers, provided by Summus, Inc.(OTC:SMMU)

optimize the consumer wireless experience, for the customization of their
mobile phone's screen.

and Graffiti-style art, Socially Hazardous (a popular sticker brand), and Devil
Art screen savers (all provided by Airborne Entertainment) in reaching "Gold"
status on the Sprint Nationwide PCS Network.

the Sprint PCS Phone SCP-200 by Sanyo and the Sprint PCS Vision Phone VI-2300
by Sanyo that together come in a total of nine colors, as well as color
accessories, including designer cases by Dooney & Bourke. On the content front,
Sprint offers more than a thousand screen savers to choose from, including
models, rock stars and celebs; urban images; college and sports team logos; and
Picture Mail(SM) photos, as well as recently added "Natural Wonders" (storms,
volcanoes, etc.) and "Cartoons and Comics." Sprint was the first U.S. carrier
to introduce Music Tones, real song ringers that are available for purchase on
virtually all Sprint PCS Vision Phones.

To access screen savers on the phone, select Menu/Downloads/Screen Savers and
Get New. Screen savers range in price from $1.50-$2.50. Sports Illustrated
Swimsuit screen savers are $2.00 and can be accessed from Get New/For the
Fellas/Models/Swimsuit. Customers can purchase and download screen savers
directly on their Sprint PCS Vision Phones or by logging into their account at
http://www.sprintpcs.com/ .
At the end of the first quarter, there were 8 million Sprint data subscribers,
including 6.7 million Sprint PCS Vision customers. For the quarter, ARPU was
$61 with data revenues contributing $6.00.
