Further to the announcement of 1 August 2003, Sefton is now able to provide
further information regarding Norman Murray Thachuk, aged 66, who was elected a
director on 31 July, 2003.

Mr Thachuk is a director of Patnor Consulting Ltd., an oil and gas consultancy
company ,and is both operations manager and a director of TEG Oil & Gas Canada
Inc., a 100% owned petroleum exploration and production subsidiary.

Mr. Thachuk graduated from the University of Toronto in 1960 with an Honours
Bachelor of Science and Geological Engineering degree and has spent his entire
career in the oil industry, initially with Shell in Canada, Turkey and Spain as
Senior Petroleum Engineer (to 1973) and latterly as a consultant. From 1997 to
1999 he was Vice-president, Canadian Exploration, for Ranger Oil.

Mr Thachuk is an existing shareholder of Sefton, with a holding of 4,100,000
common shares representing 0.91 per cent. of the entire issued share capital of
the Company.

No further disclosures are required in respect of Mr Thachuk pursuant to the AIM
Rules.
