                          Placing of New Common Shares

Sefton announces that it has today placed 152,000,000 new common shares at 0.15p
per share, raising gross proceeds of #228,000 to be used as additional working
capital.

Accordingly, application has today been made for the admission of 152,000,000
new common shares to trading on the Alternative Investment Market. The new
common shares will rank pari passu with the existing common shares of the
Company and dealings are expected to commence in the new common shares on 23 May
2003.
