Sussex Bank Enters Title Insurance Business 


FRANKLIN, N.J., April 16  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sussex Bancorp  announced
that it has entered the title insurance business through an agency with First
American Title Insurance Company and Sussex Bank, the Company's commercial bank
subsidiary.  The agency, called Sussex Settlement Services, L.P. is based in
Augusta, New Jersey and offers a full range of title insurance products and
services in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

Mr. Donald L. Kovach, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sussex Bancorp,
stated:  "Entry into the title insurance business permits us to offer our
customers one stop shopping while enhancing our efforts to develop non-interest
income.  The opportunity to enter the title insurance business with a partner
such as First American Title Insurance Company, a Fortune 500 company and
industry leader, does not happen very often.  Fortunately for our customers and
