                        Appointment of Company Secretary

Montpellier is pleased to announce the appointment of Catherine Wright as
Company Secretary, effective immediately. Ms Wright, who joined the Company in
April 2000, takes over the role of Company Secretary from Sandy McArthur, who
retains his duties as Group Financial Controller.
