LaPolla Names Midwestern Regional Sales Manager

Robert Miller Named to Key Position as Company Continues Rapid Growth 


HOUSTON, May 1  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LaPolla Industries, Inc. ("LaPolla" or the "Company") (AMEX:LPA), a national manufacturer and distributor of construction products, announced today the hiring of Robert Miller as Midwestern Regional Sales Manager.

Mr. Miller has more than 14 years of sales management experience focused directly on polyurethane foam, including spray foam for construction and OEM applications.  He comes to LaPolla from BASF Polyurethane Foam Enterprises, LLC ("BPFE"), a wholly owned subsidiary of the BASF Corporation, a New Jersey based international chemical supplier, where he was their national sales manager for spray foam systems.  Prior to joining BPFE, Mr. Miller spent 7 years at the Dow Chemical Company in a number of positions of increasing responsibility in global sales and business development relating to polyurethane foam, ultimately serving as a business development manager for the spray foam market.

Mr. Miller holds a BBA and an MBA in Marketing from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo.
