STATEMENT AND TRADING UPDATE


ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING


The Company is please to announce that all resolutions at today's AGM AND EGM
were duly passed.


The Chairman quoted as follows:


"Sale of IFP



Kingsbridge has made substantial progress in agreeing the terms of the legal
agreements relating to the sale of IFP Investments Limited and Kingsbridge
Management Services plc to Ross Hyett and certain of his management team.  It is
expected that the agreement will be signed next week whereupon full details will
be announced.



TRADING UPDATE



As anticipated in our Preliminary Results announcement for the year to 31 August
2002, the Group continues to experience extremely difficult trading conditions.
In the absence of any improvement in the general economic climate, results for
the financial year to 31 August 2003 will be substantially worse than current
market expectations."
