Primetime airings of “Who’s
The Boss?” have delivered significant ratings
increases among key adult demographics on ION Television, the network
announced today. In the first two weeks following the popular program’s
July 9 debut, viewership in its 9-10 PM timeslot season-to-date
increased 41 percent in women 25-54, and 33 percent in adults 25-54.
During the weeks of July 9 and 16, “Who’s
The Boss?” delivered 175,000 household
impressions for women 25-54, and 259,000 impressions for adults 25-54,
the highest weekly impressions performance in the 9-10 PM hour
season-to-date.

lighthearted weekday sitcom line-up and struck an instant chord with our

Benefiting from a solid “Who’s
the Boss?” lead-in, “Wonder
Years” enjoyed a six percent ratings increase
in households and women 25-54 in its 10-11 PM timeslot during the weeks
of July 9 and 16, representing a season-to-date increase of 22 percent.
ION Television’s primetime weekday evening
rating increases follow the recent launch of ION’s
new weekend programming partnership with RHI Entertainment, whereby RHI
serves as ION’s exclusive television
programming supplier on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Since the
start of the RHI and ION partnership, which began the weekend of June
29th with the digitally re-mastered, Emmy®
award-winning miniseries “Lonesome Dove,”
Saturday night household impressions on ION Television have experienced
a 55 percent increase over season-to-date figures.
