RNS Number:1607P SDA Limited 29 August 2003 For immediate release 29 August 2003 Result of tender offer by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP on behalf of SDA Limited to purchase up to 4,779,342 ordinary shares of 50 pence each in Eldridge, Pope & Co., p.l.c. On 7 August 2003, SDA Limited ("SDA") announced a tender offer to purchase up to 4,779,342 ordinary shares in Eldridge, Pope & Co., p.l.c. ("Eldridge Pope") at 165 pence per ordinary share. At the close of the tender offer at 3.00pm on 28 August 2003, tenders had been received for a total of 538,495 ordinary shares of 50 pence each, representing 2.18 per cent. of the Eldridge Pope ordinary shares in issue. Settlement arrangements will be made in accordance with the terms of the tender offer document. Following the completion of the tender offer, SDA and Mr Michael Cannon will together beneficially own 3,180,495 Eldridge Pope ordinary shares, representing approximately 12.85 per cent. of the Eldridge Pope ordinary shares in issue.
