American Stock Exchange Launches Two New iShares Municipal Bond Exchange Traded Funds

iShares S&P California and iShares S&P New York Municipal Bond Funds 


NEW YORK, Oct. 5  /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) announced today that it has launched trading in two new iShares exchange traded funds by Barclays Global Investors: iShares S&P California Municipal Bond Fund (AMEX:CMF) and iShares S&P New York Municipal Bond Fund (AMEX:NYF). These two new iShares brings Amex ETF listings to 345.

CMF seeks to track the California municipal bond sector of the U.S. municipal bond market as defined by the S&P California Municipal Bond Index. NYF seeks to track the New York municipal bond sector as defined by the S&P New York Municipal Bond Index.
