Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

(b) On January 31, 2013, L. McCauley Chenault, a director of Community Bankers Trust Corporation (the “Company”) and Essex Bank, the Company’s wholly owned subsidiary, notified the Company of his resignation as a director effective January 31, 2013. Mr. Chenault had been a director of the Company and its predecessors since 1987.
