BEIJING and SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 8 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- AsiaInfo Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:ASIA) ("AsiaInfo" or the "Company"), a leading provider of telecom software solutions and IT security products and services in China, today announced it has signed contracts to upgrade China Mobile's Phase-I Next Generation Business Operation Support System ("NG-BOSS") to Phase-II NG-BOSS in Inner Mongolia, Liaoning and Gansu province. "China Mobile's Phase-II NG-BOSS rollout is being driven by increased competition among China's telecom operators and the need for cutting edge IT solutions to retain customers," said AsiaInfo's President and Chief Executive Officer Steve Zhang. "The telecom operators are determined to provide bundled fixed-line, broadband and mobile businesses as well as win enterprise, family and individual customers.
