American Stock Exchange Lists Common Stock of Almaden Minerals Limited

NEW YORK, Dec. 19  /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today listed the common stock of Almaden Minerals Limited., under the ticker symbol AAU.

Almaden Minerals Ltd. is an exploration stage company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties of merit in Canada, the US and Mexico with the aim of developing them to a stage where they can be exploited at a profit or to arrange joint ventures whereby other companies provide funding for development and exploitation.
