Update on Star Sanctum Event

Further to its agreement with Star Sanctum, a private UK company set to launch and operate film focused conventions ("the Agreement") (see initial announcement dated 7 November 2017), Challenger Acquisitions Limited (LSE: CHAL), the leisure and entertainment focused company, has been informed by Star Sanctum that the event scheduled in May 2018 has been cancelled due to inadequate ticket sales and a resulting cash deficit to fund the actors appearances.

As per the Agreement, Challenger provided a GBP100,000 loan to Star Sanctum to support the launch of its first convention in London. Following the cancellation of this event, Challenger will commence legal proceedings to realise on the personal guarantee for this loan as provided by Jane Lowther, the owner of Star Sanctum.
