What is Liquid?

Definition of Liquid

This is a term used to describe a financial instrument that is widely traded, the opposite of illiquid. It also describes the state of a market whose volume increases around a certain type of asset. Put simply, a liquid market is an active market. The more liquid a market is, the easier it is to make large transactions without affecting its stability.
