What is SIMPLE?

Savings Incentive Match Plan for Employees (SIMPLE) is a salary savings plan that small companies may offer their employees, which allows the employer to either match the employee's annual contributions or to infuse a small fixed amount in the absence of employee contribution (depending upon the unique contractual obligations), in order to create the illusion financial dependence among the employees.
