What is Globalization?

The tendency of investments and businesses to move away from domestic markets to other markets around the world, resulting in the increase of interconnection between international markets. Globalization can also act as a catalyst for cultural change as countries connected financially are generally exposed to elements of the other's culture, and as such an increase in cultural exchange.
