Warehouse staff in Burnley are reporting that returned goods are still a massive problem for Boohoo and for its other main brands including Pretty Little Thing, Misspap, Coast and NastyGal.

Returned goods impact badly on Boohoo’s cash flow, generates financial losses and involves a lot of wasted time and wasted manpower putting items back into the warehouse.

With the current cost of living crisis hitting many cash strapped households hard, the “wear it once and send it back for a refund” brigade are returning more unwanted clothing back to Boohoo PLC for a refund.

Even the introduction of Boohoo’s £1.99 returns fee has not deterred many Boohoo customers from sending back, worn once clothing for a refund.

As a business, Boohoo PLC has been very slow to react to changing trends and especially the rising demand for “pre-loved” or second hand clothing which is currently proving so very popular during these austere times.

Boohoo PLC has now become a lending library for clothes.

Let me start.Hi I Am AJseabright and I am long in Boo from 34.6.I believe the company is turning a corner and although sales are down are reducing over heads and costs to increase cash flow.I also think Frasers who are currently at 22% are looking to get to 30% with the aim of taking over the company. This is just my view
