If interest rates goes up in America year ending strong dollar.on the back of higher rates curbing inflation could see around 413 area only thing hopefully is inflation to drop more than predicted over next few months

I agree sundial and that's why it would just be a nibble at 506 today.

The US looks like it's going to have a week of drops for the NASDAQ so could it turn on Monday going into a shorter week and pull miners up with it??

A foot in the door at 506 would not be too bad if it got worse but I would not be confident to go all eggs in right now.

I was hoping for sub 500 this week here to re enter but I don't think that's on the cards now. Will nibble if we see 506 before the close otherwise let's see how the US does today and Asia on Monday.

Come on Simon Trott at Rio ceo and dealmaker,at Rio, make that bid for Glencore in August when takeover rules end. I think BHP might have a go as well. Brokers saying Glen worth around 750p, I would take 725p cash.

There's strong support at 505p and copper tested 5.94 overnight and bounced again. Making a new higher low, copper was confused but the bulls are pushing now.

I think this is the floor 515p, won't go below 500p, as long as copper holds above $13,000 they are making a fortune.

Absolutely correct. Nobody knows. Copper found good support overnight at 5.92 and has built tenderly on that but not enough to encourage a turn around. Are the bears finished or are they just resting. Meanwhile Glen is simply trending water hoping for a clear direction. The bulls are watching but not committing.Interestingly BHP is in an almost identical situation.

At the moment Copper is confused neither the bulls or the bears are in control. Which is nice because GLEN has the opportunity to stop falling for the moment.
