That's what I thought, but then it occurred to me that what if there are other people who think the same way? Constructed reality and takes all sorts to make a market etc.

Bizarre! If they really think trading in 99p of shares sets a meaningful high! I know AEX is a small cap (for now anyway) but that's ridiculous!

I see the price was walked down to 1.39 to fill the 340,000 and 700,000 and now 400,000 orders. And yes they are O - Ordinary Trades so done by an MM, not matched by SETS, as are all of todays trades except the UT - Uncrossing Trade from the auction at 11am.

A sell of 207,358 just went through at 1.375 so that is higher than the advertised 1.35 .

Peter this is what I was referring to the other day. I think some (bullish) PIs believe that if they trade at a new high price, it will set the marker for others to follow. Bears seems to try and do the same in reverse.

Of course, it only takes serious trades to go the other way (in each instance) for the sandcastles to get wiped out!

Check out the chart, it looks good now with the price back into line with the 3 recent year uptrend, and that long term rounded bottom. Should be an excellent chart the rest of this year and onwards.

"with the aim of defining preliminary 1p and 2p reserve estimates" is how you can get AEX from a £57.90m market cap to a huge one prior to producing huge amounts of gas from the field. With 8 to 11.2 TCF recoverable. 2TCF to 2.8TCF to AEX is worth $6,000,000,000 to $8,400,000,000. Compared to the £57.90m market cap the 1p and 2p for CH-1, NT-1 and NT-2 should make AEX significantly undervalued based on the below. And the full field even more so.

Now Up 9.37% at 1.4p as we enter the final 30 minutes of trading. This is looking very promising for a close at a level we haven’t seen for some time.

I'd best say this when the price is doing upwards. What matters is volume - not only in aggregate but also for individual trades. Regarding the latter, I think keen PIs might save themselves a bit of money if they stop buying / selling small amounts just to what the 'going rate is', especially if it looks to be going up.Buying £250 worth just to see 1.29 really isn't worth the trading costs.

Here is what went on for the GSA signing, a ceremony which included Hon. Dato Biteko, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy.

If they did a ceremony for the GSA you can be 99.999% sure they will be doing a ceremony to present the 25 year Licence.
.
There are 16 people lined up, so it's likely all of them, possibly more, will be required to attend a Licence Presentation Ceremony. Meanwhile Parliament are still hearing Budget speeches from various departments during the week, but weekend are free, so my guess would be a weekend ceremony, advised by RNS on a Monday at 7am. It could even be this weekend, as it's ready to go when the people are all available and the event is set up (they have had a few weeks already).

Hon. Dato Biteko will be itching to get this Licence presented so he can blow his own trumpet big time.
